Lantor B.V. is a global market leader with cutting-edge technology in the production of high-quality chemically bonded non-woven textile products.

We are seeking a Senior Research Chemist to join our team in Veenendaal, Netherlands.

As a Senior Research Chemist, you will play a crucial role in our ongoing pursuit of excellence, improving our production efficiency and developing cutting-edge products.

You will be responsible for fundamental research and development efforts in production processes and material innovation, including patented technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading research projects aimed at improving production processes and materials
  • Analysing data and results to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
  • Developing patents where applicable
  • Contributing to the development of new products and applications based on market trends and customer needs
  • Providing reporting and presentations on research results to the management team

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Ph.D. in polymer chemistry, materials science, or a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of polyacrylate, UPR and composite materials
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development, preferably in an industrial setting
  • In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, materials, and analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
