About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Service Representative to join our team at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering an unforgettable experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery;
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards;
  • Stay up-to-date on menu offerings, promotions, and events to provide expert recommendations;
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, following through to resolution;
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups;
  • A degree in Hospitality or Tourism is preferred, but not required;
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions;
  • Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit.
