Technical Support Specialist for Maritime Operations

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Schiedam and Rotterdam-Albrandswaard, Netherlands. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring seamless operations across our global maritime network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365 tools and ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with our 1st Line support team to ensure seamless handovers and optimize user experience
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance employee knowledge of IT systems and tools
  • Monitor user satisfaction scores and implement process improvements to drive excellence
  • Ensure compliance with GBS IT SLA/ GSM principles and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills (Dutch is a plus)
  • MBO-level degree in IT or Business Administration, or relevant industry experience
  • Service-minded attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work with all levels within the business
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures
