Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Host to join our team at Meininger Hotel Amsterdam Amstel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a safe and memorable stay.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with handling guest complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide guests with informed recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role is required.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Familiarity with front office systems, such as ASSD, Fidelio, or SIHOT, is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional languages desirable.
