Senior Finance Manager for Global Accounting and Reporting

About the Role

As a Senior Finance Manager for Global Accounting and Reporting, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in managing global financial processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate monthly close cycles for various legal entities in the EMEA region to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Act as a linking-pin between the finance team and business stakeholders.
  • Review and approve account reconciliations, journal entries, and generate and record journals and complete balance sheets and P&L account reconciliations.
  • Develop and manage effective working relationships within the organization and actively liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive process efficiencies across the global team.
  • Set team goals and establish robust feedback cycles.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in finance or accounting.
  • 5+ years of experience in a management role within an international accounting environment.
  • Accounting/reporting background.
  • IFRS knowledge is preferred.
  • Rt R finance system knowledge and end-to-end knowledge of processes and project management.
  • People management experience and ability to develop teams.
  • Proven ability to drive process changes in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal), preferably Dutch.
