About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Global Data Centres development team as a Back-End Developer Intern.

About the Team

You'll be working closely with our multidisciplinary and cross-functional team, responsible for Global Data Centres Services and delivery of these services to ING's business.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of server-side logic.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Help optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Participate in implementing security and data protection measures.
  • Participate in code reviews and testing processes.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of coding languages such as Java.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High ambition and energy level.
  • Organisational and project management skills.
  • Fluency in business English.
