About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our data center operations, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure of our cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between technology teams and the data center environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, utilizing your expertise in system administration, networking fundamentals, and IT hardware concepts.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation on supported hardware technologies, ensuring accurate knowledge sharing and efficient troubleshooting processes.
- Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement process improvements, introducing automation to simplify tasks and enhance overall efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying innovative solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear explanations of complex technical concepts and facilitating informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and systems, enhancing the overall data center experience and improving operational efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate interest and knowledge in the position and a willingness to learn on the job – gap year students also considered.
- Experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment (200 - 1000+ server systems).
- Demonstrated examples of a drive to dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problems.
- Experience working in a 'mission critical operations' environment.
- The ability to lift up to 25Kg and work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers and staff.
- Experience providing client-facing, direct customer support and service.
- Ability to work productively in remote cross-functional teams or resourcefully and independently as an individual.
- Highly service-oriented, reliable, responsible, self-motivated.
- Good English command.

About the Salary
The estimated salary for this role is around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes a competitive benefits package, comprehensive training, and opportunities for career advancement within a dynamic and growing organization.
