Job Description

The Account Manager Display Channel role is a pivotal position within Samsung's B2B Channel Professional team. As a sales specialist, you will maintain and expand strong partnerships with channel partners, driving sales through the channel and meeting revenue targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining sustainable relationships with channel partners, such as resellers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Developing and executing business plans and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with marketing and product management, and managing all aspects of the partner relationship to maximize revenue growth and market share.
  • Meting assigned monthly sales targets per partner and maintaining a healthy pipeline/accurate forecast in collaboration with other Account Managers.
  • Leading regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various stakeholders at your partners.
  • Ensuring clear and consistent communication (internally and externally) with partners to build strong partnerships.
  • Staying informed about industry developments, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
  • Training and assisting channel partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products or services and can effectively market and sell them.
  • Understanding the organizational structure of the partners.
  • Focusing on building the company's credibility, brand value, and trust with your partners.
  • Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.com for contacts, conversations, emails, notes, tasks, demos, and other relevant information.
  • Being proactive in continuously assessing, clarifying, and validating partner needs.
  • Overseeing partner contracts, agreements, and incentives to ensure compliance and to optimize partner satisfaction and performance.
  • Expanding collaboration with channel partners and assessing their potential to contribute to our sales objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking.
  • Market knowledge and experience: at least five years of experience in the Dutch B2B market, including key behaviors and strategies for engaging partners.
  • Affinity with Channel Partners or resellers.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Partner focus: shows commitment to meeting and exceeding the needs of the partners.
  • You are innovative: we move fast and take big risks yet feel responsible.
  • You are collaborative: we recognize that we are all in this together.
  • Business acumen and flexibility: ability to articulate the business value of Samsung B2B and position them in competitive scenarios.
  • Effective engagement and communication: effective time management, account management, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and develop effective sales strategies.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is between €60,000 and €90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
