As the Sales Excellence Manager, you'll be at the forefront of commercial decision-making, equipped with the latest market insights. Your expertise will enable us to stay ahead of market trends and make informed decisions that boost our commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy to drive commercial excellence.
  • Promote and train desired commercial behavior and standard global approach.
  • Optimize our Microsoft Dynamics CRM to streamline account management and lead management.
  • Partner with Sales Managers across countries to support local businesses with data-driven insights.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards to evaluate and improve sales activities.
  • Lead customer experience programs to ensure loyal and satisfied customers.
  • Develop a customer orientation/service excellence culture amongst employees.
  • Lead initiatives to refine sales processes and implement new tools and systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders.

About the Role:

As Sales Excellence Manager, you will work in a self-managing and independent position where analysis and advice are central. You will do this from our office in Roermond, but with a strong international character. Within this position, you will report to the Finance Director and although you will have a self-regulatory role, there are always colleagues nearby who are willing to brainstorm and support where necessary.

Grodan, part of ROCKWOOL Group, is a global leader offering innovative and rootzone management solutions for the professional horticultural sector, based on Precision Growing principles. Although the Dutch horticulture sector occupies a prominent position in the world, it is a position with an international scope. You have to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders such as growers, governments, EU institutions, and the end consumer who demand eco-friendly products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with Advanced Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), Sharepoint, and SAP-SD.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both oral and written, in English and Dutch, and preferably in other languages.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and able to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
