CNC Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Cyient. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for generating multi-axis CNC programs using Mastercam software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate multi-axis CNC programs using Mastercam software.
  • Prepare Machining Cycle Time (MCT) for various components.
  • Work with mechanical engineers and industrial engineers to develop manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing process 3D models using Catia/Siemens NX12 and above.
  • Design and develop jigs and fixtures for optimized manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate with teams to validate CNC programs, manufacturing processes, and inspection sheets.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or landing gear parts.
  • Proficiency in generating CNC programs for aerospace components using Mastercam software.
  • Excellent knowledge of GD&T symbols and their applications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a 2-shift system.
Skills and Experience:
  • CNC software: Mastercam, Dassault Systemes CATIA, ICAM CAM-Post.
  • Machining and manufacturing processes.
  • GD&T and its applications.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Access and Excel.
