About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Trainee to join our team at voco The Hague. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, maintaining accurate personnel files, and organizing social events.

As an HR Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn about the Human Resources department and develop your skills in areas such as employee wellbeing, learning & development, and internal communication.

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about the hospitality industry and has excellent communication skills. If you are a social person with a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Maintain accurate personnel files
  • Organize social events and take care of birthdays and promotions
  • Monitor employee wellbeing and offer a listening ear
  • Support and guide employees in their roles
  • Keep employees informed about hotel news and events
  • Prepare training and presentations for new employees
  • Conduct internship and job interviews
  • Organize the Host of the Quarter event
  • Guide the offboarding process
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch
  • Great focus on detail
  • Proactive attitude and initiative
  • Following a hospitality-related education
  • Internship available for at least 5 months
