Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to engage in cutting-edge research utilizing cathodoluminescence (CL) microscopy for the inspection and analysis of semiconductor devices. This role involves employing high-energy electrons to excite nanomaterials, enabling the exploration of their optical properties with exceptional spatial and temporal resolution.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct investigations into the application of CL spectroscopy within a scanning electron microscope (SEM) for semiconductor metrology.
  • Collect and analyze angle-, polarization-, and time-resolved CL spectra from intricate nanostructures, including metals, semiconductors, and dielectrics.
  • Derive material properties and feature dimensions in three dimensions from the gathered datasets.
  • Engage in studies ranging from simple model systems to complex structures relevant to semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Utilize tomographic techniques alongside inverse design and machine learning methodologies to enhance research outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with leading research centers and industry partners to advance semiconductor metrology techniques.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A preference for both independent work and collaborative team environments.

Employment Conditions
