We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at ING. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers within the Wholesale Banking Lending domain.
  • Develop and implement control and resilience solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Represent the voice of control and resilience in transformation programs and ensure risk assessments are conducted effectively.
  • Engage stakeholders to design processes with control and resilience by default.
  • Enable managers to boost risk culture and own control and resilience conversations.
  • Solicit feedback from colleagues and encourage open communication.
  • Apply data and reporting to inform control and resilience discussions and drive business results.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local business processes and activities.
  • Liaise with relevant 2LoD and 3LoD colleagues for risk management questions and advice on risk mitigating activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience in risk management or auditing.
  • Excellent knowledge of WB Lending products and processes.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven planning and organizational abilities.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Actively seek feedback and provide constructive suggestions.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of €65,000 - €85,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you can enjoy:

  • 24-27 vacation days depending on contract.

  • Individual Savings Contribution (BIS), 3.5% of gross annual salary.
  • 8% Holiday payment.
