Job Summary

We are seeking a Multidisciplinary Operations Coordinator to join our team at Hexion Careers. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical coordination, with experience in scheduling and managing maintenance activities. You will be working closely with production teams to prioritize tasks and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing incoming reports, projects, and TAR scope to determine prioritization and resource allocation
  • Collaborating with production teams to obtain agreement on execution timelines
  • Creating work orders at task level and recording on-site details
  • Drawing up and communicating weekly schedules
  • Determining required work, materials, and time for execution
  • Determining required skills and qualifications for technicians and contractors
  • Budgeting for required resources and materials
  • Ordering and reserving materials, calling on services as needed
  • Processing documentation into workbooks and ROSER work packages
  • Offering work orders to schedulers for review and approval
  • Closing work orders after completion, updating associated documentation
Competencies

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, customer focus, and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements
  • MBO+/HBO WTBK-EI degree or equivalent
  • Experience with SAP/ROSER/Scheduling programs
  • 5-7 years of experience in a chemical production environment, with 2 years in a technical executive role or similar position
  • Knowledge of installation safety processes and specific safety procedures
  • Affinity with IT and CMMS systems
Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
