Global Initiative Leader

About the Role

The Global Initiative Leader is a key position within Coty, responsible for driving bold and supported decisions to drive growth and networking. As a highly autonomous and pragmatic individual, you will take charge of a portfolio of projects and influence a multi-functional team to develop and execute new product development projects within an Initiative Masterplan.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of projects through the development of a project plan and bring together a multi-functional team to work collaboratively and proactively progress the agreed work.
  • Own regular multi-functional project meetings for status updates, meeting notes, and follow-up on open actions, leading the discussion with strong influential leadership skills.
  • Coordinate the review of readiness of an initiative, working closely with global Marketing, R&D/Supply/Procurement, and brand Finance.
  • Consolidate and communicate project challenges to facilitate informed and agile decision-taking.
  • Apply the standard Supply operating strategy matrix to recommend finished good sourcing approach.
  • Ensure issues and risks are proactively identified and brought to the attention of the project team for mitigation or resolution, elevating project issues to respective leadership for visibility and support in resolution when needed.
  • Coordinate the formal Alert Process with global teams when a critical issue arises, bringing the project team together in crisis collaboration if needed.
  • Build Initiative Management capability within the multi-functional teams and drive Continual Improvement through coordinating project learning cycles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of global project management experience, with familiarity with Project Planning and standard project management tools.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain roles.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects as a leader and/or member of a multi-functional team.
  • Technical Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Understanding of new product development processes FMCG & stage gate approach.
  • Understanding of MRP system logic.
  • Exposure to production environment & interaction of packaging, process, manufacturing.
  • Additional background in planning/purchasing/technical environment beneficial.
  • Preferably experience in Coty Operations or related industry, pharmaceutical, food, FMCG.
