Marketing and Branding Professional

The Communications and Public Affairs Office (CPAO) of the Registry of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is seeking a talented Marketing and Branding Professional to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to strengthen the University's brand and visibility.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to strengthen the University's brand and visibility;
  • Planning, implementing, and monitoring promotional campaigns to evaluate their effectiveness and make ongoing improvements;
  • Leading content development projects for multiple channels, including digital platforms and printed communication collaterals, in line with brand direction;
  • Planning and coordinating project schedules, managing procurement processes to commission third-party service providers for various University initiatives;
  • Analyzing market trends, competitors, and campaign effectiveness to provide insights on new and effective promotional strategies;
  • Serving as an internal brand custodian for brand or sub-brand applications in various contexts.

Requirements:

  • A good University degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant discipline;
  • At least eight years' experience in brand-building, events, or digital marketing, corporate communications for consideration of appointment as Manager; at least five years' experience in brand-building, events, or digital marketing, corporate communications for consideration of appointment as Assistant Manager;
  • An excellent command of English and Chinese;
  • A good command of PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong analytical skills to drive marketing results, transforming data into actionable insights and recommendations;
  • The ability to manage fast-moving projects and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams in a complex environment;
  • A willingness to work outside regular working hours and on duty roster.
