Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Head of Business Performance Controlling to lead our controlling team and partner with the business to drive change and improvement. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in shaping our organization's performance.

As the Head of BPC, you'll be responsible for driving decision-making through a deep understanding of performance drivers and trends. You'll provide accurate and timely insights on efficiency, scale, and working capital, both backward and forward-looking. Your strong commercial acumen will enable you to challenge stakeholders and provide supportive partnering approaches.

With your excellent knowledge of retail and e-commerce, you'll engage with the CFO, CEO, and other senior leaders on business decisions and daily operations. You'll help stakeholders understand business drivers and alternatives, as well as benchmark against the market. You'll also build business cases for new markets and categories, and integrate new companies onto our platform.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field (RC is an advantage)
  • Experience with M&A and post-merger integrations
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience in retail/e-commerce, with at least 2 years in a team lead role
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills
  • Committed team player
  • Excellent change and stakeholder management
  • Experienced user of BI tooling and other reporting/data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
