We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team in the North/West of the Netherlands. Our client is a family-owned international business with over 25 years of experience in the office-furniture market, boasting a Nordic, innovative business spirit.

A professional network of dealers consists of over 800 reliable international representatives in more than 60 countries worldwide, with five showrooms in France, Germany, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, and the USA. The company helps its clients and partners achieve their goals by focusing on what creates the most value for them, including meaningful innovations, proven and easy-to-implement solutions, and globally relevant design, ensuring the opportunity for employees to work in modern and quality working spaces.

For the North/West of the Netherlands, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Area Sales Manager to work on the following daily targets and responsibilities:

  • Contacting new clients and discussing the company's products
  • Three days on the road meeting clients/dealers (hunting)
  • Farming: You are in contact with existing clients and show them new options and products
  • You meet clients personally in meetings and virtually in video calls
  • You check and observe the furniture market and map potential clients and the potential of the dealers
  • You like working in a smart and innovative team with a future-of-work spirit, client contact, and sometimes home office
  • Before you start, you get an onboarding/training in the HQ
  • After that, you are responsible for sales in the west-north region of the Netherlands
  • You are stress-resistant and like sales and talking to people
  • You like the Nordic design and business mentality
  • Improving our dealer channel to continue the growth in this area
  • You will work from home-office and be on the road some multiple days a week

Requirements

What you need for this role:

1) Experience in the office furniture industry and therefore equipped with product/material knowledge.
2) Strong verbal qualities at client meetings.
3) Working independently with a high level of responsibility in Sales.
4) Fluent Dutch & English speaking and writing at a reasonable level due to communication with HQ.
5) A network of dealers and customers in our industry is a plus.
6) It might be good if you live in the area (north/west) and have the willingness to travel.
7) Goal-focused and result-orientated.
8) Possibility to work from home.

Benefits

For this position, we offer an annual gross-salary range starting from 65.000 € + Bonus + company car, Laptop, Mobile Phone depending on your experience, track record, and client portfolio, you will bring to us.
