Salary and Benefits

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Product Strategy Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Personalisation and Machine Learning strategy across ranking and search domains. As a key member of our Search & Ranking team, you'll be responsible for articulating the vision and setting the roadmap for our personalisation initiatives.

You'll work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and data science teams to deliver innovative personalization features that delight users. This includes developing and integrating user-focused personalization features into our product ecosystem, ensuring they are optimized and effectively implemented.

In this role, you'll own metrics on models and personalization performance, collaborate with teams to iterate and optimise features based on feedback and data insights, and drive experimentation agenda on our recommendation/ML models.

Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of defining product roadmaps for personalisation, product recommendations, search or other relevant ML-centric products.
  2. Outcome-driven with a bias towards action, demonstrating the ability to set and achieve ambitious goals.
  3. Possess a sense of urgency and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering results within tight timelines.
  4. Demonstrated decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed and strategic choices while considering both short-term and long-term implications.
  5. Excellent storytelling abilities, capable of articulating a compelling product vision and strategy to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  6. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data, contributing to data-informed decision-making.
  7. Extensive experience in designing, executing, and analysing A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies specific to Machine Learning projects.
  8. Demonstrated a strong technical understanding of machine learning concepts and applications, from the statistical and mathematical foundations to the practical aspects of turning models into product features.
Location and Work Environment

This role is based in Amsterdam, with a relocation package available for those living outside the Netherlands. Our offices are designed to inspire and connect, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility and work-life balance.
