Job Overview:

AtriCure is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Data Protection Specialist to join its team. This role will be responsible for providing broad support to the company's compliance and privacy program on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of standard policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization to promote compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance.
  • Monitor regional regulatory and legislative changes and compliance best practices throughout EMEA, APAC, and LatAm.
  • Support the development of AtriCure's Global Data Privacy program, including keeping the company's processing register up to date, supporting the performance of data privacy impact assessments, and assistance with new initiatives that include the processing of personal data.
  • Execute the Healthcare Professionals expenses monitoring and reporting activities.
  • Work on the development and implementation of compliance training to employees and third parties, compliance communications, and the administration and monitoring of the compliance awareness program.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience working in a compliance, data privacy, legal, or ethics department.
  • Bachelor's degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
