We are seeking a highly skilled Homologation Engineer CoP to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. as a key member of our Homologation team. As a Homologation Engineer CoP, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) process, ensuring continuous compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- CoC Process Management: Oversee the CoC process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating the automated generation of CoCs.
- Functional Application Management: Act as the Functional Application Manager for the CoC editor software, analyzing and suggesting improvements to ensure seamless functionality.
- Business Requirements Definition: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external authorities to define business requirements for the CoC editor software.
- Testing and Validation: Test and validate CoC editor software updates in close cooperation with the IT department to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- CoC Generation and Support: Support the daily CoC generation process, rectifying any incorrect CoCs as needed, and provide assistance to DAF subsidiaries for vehicle registration processes.
- Quality Procedures Maintenance: Maintain and update quality procedures for CoCs, type plates, and ECE stickers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Industry Representation: Represent DAF in the ACEA working group for CoC and IVI developments, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in automotive or mechanical engineering.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with or understanding of the certification and registration process.
- IT Skills: Affinity for and experience with IT processes.
- Domain Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the vehicle domain.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive and entrepreneurial personality, strong communication and persuasion skills, and advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
