At Siemens, we're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Distribution Project Lead to join our team in The Hague, Netherlands. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering team, you'll be responsible for leading complex projects in the field of power distribution in the data centre industry.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer to oversee the engineering and realisation of projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering and realisation of power distribution projects, from concept to commissioning
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering team to develop technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements
  • Manage and supervise Interface- and System engineers to deliver high-quality designs and installations
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of project scope, budget, and timeline, ensuring efficient delivery
  • Develop and implement engineering plans, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, fostering open communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Completed HTS or TU degree in electrical engineering with at least 7 years' work experience as (lead) engineer in multidisciplinary projects;
  • Practical and theoretical experience with low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations, and standards such as IEC 61439;
  • Experience in preparing technical reports and test plans;
  • Creative, positive, able to communicate ideas and encourage people;
  • Able to make engineering and execution plans, monitor them, and realise them;
  • Experience in working in a team and managing and coaching engineers;
  • Communicative, politically and commercially strong, able to cope with critical customers;
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly for short business trips;
  • Stress-resistant and able to act within a pressured environment;
  • Speaks and writes English fluently;
  • Preferably also knowledge of the Dutch language
What We Offer
  • A competitive gross monthly salary of up to €6,000
  • A 13th-month payment, prorated periodically
  • 8.33% holiday allowance, calculated over 12 months' salary
