As a Safety and Quality Consultant at Mammoet, you will be instrumental in shaping and advancing our safety culture. You will empower our colleagues, contractors, and clients to uphold our highest safety standards, fostering a work environment where safety is paramount.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead risk assessment sessions, including TRA's, Project Risk Assessments, HAZID/HAZOP.
  • Develop and evaluate project SHE/Q/E plans and those of subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with Project SHE-Q requirements.
  • Perform workplace inspections, advising and training our team on safety risks and standards.
  • Deliver safety presentations and on-the-job training, including for third-party hires.
  • Participate in various SHE-Q related meetings, both internally and with clients.
  • Conduct incident investigations and assess safety and environmental risks.
  • Compile SHE-Q reports and manage related notifications in our systems.
  • Support management in advancing our safety policies by keeping abreast of market trends and translating them into internal procedures.
  • Oversee internal and external (client) audits.

Your Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within civil engineering, construction, renewable energy, oil and gas, offshore, ports, or mining sectors.
  • Proficiency in SHE-Q regulations and systems.
  • Minimum MBO level of working and thinking.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with heavy transport and lifting operations is an advantage.
