HR Business Partner Expert for Benelux Operations

We are seeking a skilled HR Business Partner to strengthen our team in the Benelux region. This full-time position requires an experienced professional with a broad range of HR skills.

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch HR services to employees based in Benelux. Your responsibilities will include working closely with departmental heads to understand operational issues and develop solutions, guiding managers through HR processes, and ensuring compliance with legal changes.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with departmental heads to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Provide guidance to managers on HR processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on legal changes and implement new policies and processes as necessary.
  • Lead investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, or capability processes.
  • Engage with hiring managers to ensure accurate role scoping and recruiting.
  • Ensure effective on-boarding processes for new employees.
  • Review relevant policies and procedures annually.
  • Care for employee exits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.

Key areas of focus include:

HR Administration and Payroll
  • Coordinate payroll data for Benelux, ensuring complete and timely processing according to schedule.
  • Maintain payroll-related systems, such as Workday.
  • Process new starters, leavers, leave of absences, long service awards, referral bonuses, loans, retirements, and commissions.
  • C coordinate employment benefits.
  • Understand and adhere to SOX regulations.
  • Maintain records, create template documents, and update handbook with employment legislation changes.

An ideal candidate would have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR general tasks.
  • Broad HR generalist skills.
  • Previous experience with payroll processing.
  • A strong emphasis on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Highly organized and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment legislation.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
