About the Role

The Ecommerce team at Monks is seeking an experienced Amazon Merchandiser to join our global team. As an Amazon Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the day-to-day merchandising management for our client's Amazon channel, focusing on site productivity, sales growth, and conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively merchandise products within the product category to influence conversion rate and sales, balancing with marketing initiatives and brand focus.
  • Utilize all available data points, including consumer demand, product inventory, product margin, shipping rates, etc., to drive profitability on Amazon.
  • Knowledge of upselling, cross-selling, catalog structure management, and creation of product-specific landing pages.
  • Creation and maintenance of product listings through listing creation tools.
  • Compile conversion-optimized product copies.
  • Submission and monitoring of promotional and product campaigns through all sales channels.
  • Knowledge of how to drive sales through top search results, cross-selling, and up-selling opportunities.
  • Audits and Quality Checks: Regular audits to maintain compliance and integrity of the product catalogue.
  • Optimization: Optimize content for product, category, and brand, A+ pages following SEO best practices with seasonal updates.
  • Localization: Ensure that German product copy is accurately localized and fit for purpose.

About You

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in ecommerce, preferably with a focus on Amazon.
  • Working knowledge within an Amazon Agency.
  • Working knowledge of the German market in ecommerce.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Hands-on experience managing SKUs and Categories on Amazon.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem - Ads, AWS, AMS, etc.
  • Data-driven and good analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong client-service orientation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
