Join Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre as a Front Office Trainee

Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Front Office Trainee to join our team. As a Front Office Trainee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.



Main Responsibilities:


  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.
  • Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively with the Front Office team to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent guest experiences.
  • Develop knowledge of Opera IT system and other relevant systems to enhance guest service.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments to resolve any issues or concerns.


Requirements:


  • Availability to work a 38-hour work week, including morning and afternoon shifts.
  • Availability to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Availability to work variable shifts, including late evenings and early mornings.
  • Availability to work overtime as required.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, and preferably Dutch language as well.
  • Possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations with ease.

  • A trainee allowance of €750,- per month (including study- and travel allowance).
  • A 38-hour work week.
  • A night-shift allowance of 20% and a Sunday allowance of 5%.
