Job Description

The Head of Non-Financial Risk Grid is responsible for leading the Non-Financial Risk team at ABN Amro. This team provides operations, IT, and change services for Non-Financial Risk types, including Compliance Risk, fraud handling, IT and Operational Risk, and Business Continuity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in managing large teams and change or IT transformation programs. They will also have expertise in Non-Financial Risk management disciplines, including control, business priorities, regulatory reporting, issues, and risks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategic and tactical leadership of the Grid NFR
  • Design and implementation of Non-Finance Risk changes, systems, and process support for NFR stakeholders
  • Establishing a vision for the Non Financial Risk technology strategy
  • Managing the planning, execution, supervision, and review of Non-Financial Risk systems and (IT) governance/processes
  • Responding to requests from stakeholders to improve/develop NFR infrastructure, processes, and data
  • Managing and controlling daily processes, controls, and IT operations

The Head of Non-Financial Risk Grid will work closely with the Head of Finance and Risk Business Grids and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Non-Financial Risk services.

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as IT, Legal, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant financial services experience, including experience in managing large teams and change or IT transformation programs
  • Expertise in Non-Financial Risk management disciplines, including control, business priorities, regulatory reporting, issues, and risks
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
