Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and driven apprentice mechanic to join our team at Vaessen Recruitment. As a key player in our maintenance and repair team, you will be responsible for identifying technical problems, advising on necessary work, and independently carrying out repairs and overhauls on our Caterpillar machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul Caterpillar machines with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Learn to detect technical problems and advise on the best approach for repair or overhaul.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and consult with the chief engineer to ensure all work is performed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Contribute to a safe and tidy working environment by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness.
Requirements
  • A strong affinity with technology and a willingness to learn.
  • Independence, proactivity, and a solution-oriented attitude with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
