About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Deerns. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing innovative solutions for our clients.
Job Description
- Provide detailed calculations, cost estimates, and designs for mechanical engineering installations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines to develop comprehensive designs for complex technical projects.
- Support project managers in coordinating installation design with architectural and structural building design, ensuring seamless integration.
- Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality installation components, meeting client requirements and specifications.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in projects and coordinate with project managers to implement practical solutions, minimizing delays and costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A completed college or university degree in mechanical engineering (WTB) or a related field is essential.
- Experience in designing mechanical engineering installations within complex technical, process, or organizational utility buildings is highly valued.
- Possession of additional courses such as HIT-W or TVVL ventilation special area, or willingness to obtain these at Deerns' expense, is desirable.
- As a senior/lead engineer, you should have solid experience in designing WTB installations within complex projects.
