We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer Outfitting to join our team at Damen Naval, a leading shipbuilder with a rich history of over 150 years. Our company is dedicated to delivering advanced naval vessels and providing innovative solutions for the maritime industry.
About the Role:
- Maximize efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, and assembly methods for site production.
- Determine necessary parts and tooling to achieve production goals according to product specifications.
- Plan, design, set, modify, optimize, and monitor production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed work instructions for production employees.
- Prepare production drawings.
- Develop engineering information packages and tooling instructions.
- Ensure quality controls align with testing and inspection plans.
- Work within established limits for time, budget, and quality.
Requirements:
- Professional education (MBO 4) in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of all production phases.
- Familiarity with production, engineering, and/or design software such as SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic / Inventor.
- Excellent command of English and Dutch languages (written and oral).
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
