About Wehkamp
We are a leading e-commerce company in the Netherlands, offering a wide range of products to our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Buying Assistant to join our Private Label department in Hilversum.
As a Buying Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Buying team in the development and execution of our seasonal range. You will work closely with our suppliers, Merchandise Planning, Styling, Quality Control, and marketing teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and are in line with our brand's vision.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Buying team in the development and execution of our seasonal range.
- Work closely with suppliers, Merchandise Planning, Styling, Quality Control, and marketing teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and are in line with our brand's vision.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare weekly sales analyses and make recommendations for different products based on their performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar function.
- Excellent fashion trend knowledge of the European and Dutch market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
