Job Description

This exciting opportunity is centered around designing and developing cutting-edge naval vessels that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design Phase: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create designs that balance performance, safety, and efficiency. Utilize industry-leading software tools such as 6-DOF, FEMAP, and ANSYS to optimize vessel layouts and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Proposal Phase: Work closely with customers to define requirements, negotiate specifications, and develop detailed proposals. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Production Phase: Support full-scale testing and validation on board, ensuring that our vessels meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Proven experience in (underwater) shock and noise calculations, with expertise in flexible mountings and international standards (STANAG, IMO, Class).
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools, including 6-DOF, FEMAP, and ANSYS.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong command of English written and verbal.
  • Candidates with EU citizenship and a valid passport are required due to the military nature of our projects.
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary ranging from €60,000 to €90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an 8% holiday pay.
  • 27 days of annual leave and 13 ADV days.
  • A travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometer.
  • A PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%.
