Job Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial transactions and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer reports within our property management system (PMS) and daily import revenue and statistics into our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for assigned operational entities.
  • Ensure VAT compliance with local requirements is being followed.
  • Maintain PMS setup according to local regulations.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reconciliation by verifying entries and comparing PMS reports to ERP balances.
  • Reconcile A/R Ledger, Guest Ledger, and Deposit Ledger on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Credit card reconciliations.
  • Adhere to month-end process checklist and maintain deadlines.
  • Analyze AR aging and follow up on collections by hosting monthly credit meetings with responsible teams on-property.
  • Create comprehensive ad-hoc reports.
  • Support implementation and connectivity setup between ERP and multiple PMS systems (Opera, Mews, Brilliant, etc.) by providing support and insight into setup and its impact on daily operations.
  • Assist with Cycas' digital transformation initiative for Accounts Receivable.
  • Aid with audit preparations and provide supporting schedules and backup for revenue recognition and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Local GAAP and USALI Framework knowledge.
  • Account management skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cash handling and tracking expertise.
  • Knowledge of credit and collection policies and procedures.
  • Budgeting and cash flow understanding.
  • Functional knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel).
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Effective time management.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
