Cybersecurity Specialist

Fugro, a leading geo-data company, is embarking on a digitalization journey. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect 29 holidays per year, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work from home.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Information Security Management System. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various functions to evaluate and reduce risks to acceptable levels. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and mitigating security risks within the organization
• Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to Fugro's information security standards
• Supporting the bid process by providing expert security advice and participating in auditing processes
• Providing feedback on information security programs to support continuous improvement and prioritize areas for development
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve positive change in information security through regular collaboration
• Sharing knowledge and insights to increase information security awareness throughout the organization

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A BSc or MSc degree in Information Security or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in both project management and information security
• Knowledge of information security standards such as SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, and NIST standards, as well as relevant legal compliance aspects
• Experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated expertise in application security practices and IT risk and security governance
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
