Senior Regulatory Model Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Model Management Specialist to join our team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our Credit Risk Control Unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's regulatory models are accurate, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and oversee the bank's regulatory models, ensuring they meet current and future regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on model design, selection, implementation, and performance, ensuring they align with the bank's business strategy.
- Collaborate with modellers, policy departments, and business stakeholders to ensure the model landscape reflects regulatory requirements, business practices, and processes.
- Perform quantitative, financial, and non-financial analyses to provide reliable advice and decision-making support.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CRR, EBA Regulatory Technical Standards, and EBA Guidelines.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in credit risk management, policy, and framework development or regulatory reporting.
- Academic education in a relevant field, such as econometrics, mathematics, actuarial studies, risk management, or finance.
- Exceptional understanding of regulatory requirements regarding capital requirements for credit risk, including IRB and SA.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Pro-active mentality, collaborative attitude, and a team player profile.
