We are seeking a skilled Scala developer to join our team at DPG Media. As a key member of our backend team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our modern distributed microservices system architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient microservices using Scala and ZIO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party advertisement platforms and internal APIs.
- Implement event-driven systems and track performance metrics using Kafka and gRPC.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and operation of services on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in OOP/FP (Java/Scala) and a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
- Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning and growth.
- Experience with Event Sourcing or CQRS is a plus.
- An experience-based salary and a 36-hour workweek.
