About the Role


At Maersk, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Strategy Advisor to join our Market Intelligence and Strategy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and development through market assessments, competitor analysis, and stakeholder management.


Responsibilities



  • Conduct market and competitor analysis using advanced Excel tools to identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, including support and facilitation of workshops and internal/external interviews.
  • Develop and present financial scenarios to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support due diligence processes from a commercial perspective by providing analysis and recommendations.

Requirements



  • Expertise in consulting and/or business development.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel, decision trees, wargaming, and game theory.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Resilience and ability to adapt to challenges.
  • Strong drive and tenacity combined with humility.
  • Fundamental desire to make a difference.
  • Professional-level English language skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping line network design, procurement, and supply chain management is an advantage.
