Role Overview

\
As a seasoned accounting professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. With your expertise in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP, you will be responsible for reconciling general ledger accounts and bank statements, as well as performing moderately complex analyses of performance results.\

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting Activities: Support accounting and external reporting activities, including accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting, statutory financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed assets, restructuring, and intercompany charges.\
  • Strong Controls and Compliance: Contribute to a robust controls environment, adhere to Mondelēz International's AER policies, and support audit activities by providing information on auditors' requests.\
  • Analysis and Improvement: Perform moderately complex analysis of performance results as requested and identify ways to improve processes within your area of responsibility.\
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team, invest in personal development, and contribute to the overall growth of peers and the AER team.\

About You

  • Technical Expertise: Possess technical expertise in accounting and external reporting, with knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP, close processes, and financial reporting systems (SAP experience preferred).\
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate business acumen and experience working in FMCG/CPG industries or Big Four accounting, with leadership skills, proven business partnering, and effective communication skills.\
  • Digital Mindset: Showcase a growth/digital mindset, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and financial system knowledge.\
  • Integrity and Judgment: Display integrity and sound judgment in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies, and external regulations.\

What We Offer
