Catawiki is a dynamic marketplace for special objects, connecting buyers and sellers from around the world. We're seeking an experienced Taxidermy Specialist to join our Natural History & Collectibles department in the Netherlands, France, or Spain.

As a Taxidermy Specialist at Catawiki, you will play a vital role in evaluating and arranging lots submitted by our users. Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of taxidermy and natural history, you'll curate compelling lot listings that appeal to our global audience of collectors.

Your expertise will be critical in ensuring transparency and fairness in user transactions. With a keen eye for detail, you'll review lot titles, descriptions, and images, providing users with reliable estimated values and professional advice. If an item doesn't meet our standards, you'll communicate this professionally and courteously.

• Evaluate and arrange lots submitted by users
• Curate compelling lot listings using your knowledge of taxidermy and natural history
• Review lot titles, descriptions, and images to ensure accuracy and fairness
• Provide users with reliable estimated values and professional advice

• Expert knowledge of taxidermy and natural history
• Basic to intermediate understanding of CITES, EU Birds Directive, and general nature protection laws
• Proactive attitude and ability to adapt processes
• Commercial experience with auction strategy optimization
• Analytical skills for monitoring auction performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
