Job Title: Enterprise Risk Manager, Risk Technology

About the Role:

The Enterprise Risk Manager, Risk Technology will be responsible for developing and maintaining the risk technology strategy, managing risk technology related projects, and ensuring the effective implementation of risk data management and governance practices. This role requires a strong understanding of banking business, internal IT, and data architecture, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the risk technology strategy, including the development of risk data management and governance practices.
  • Manage risk technology related projects, including the preparation of investment projects and the management of internal Gyokei and Ringi processes.
  • Facilitate risk technology meetings and workshops with teams of risk based developers and communicate the needs to IT and Data Management Office.
  • Take ownership for risk data flow, governance, and storage.
  • Track data quality issues for RMD and ensure they get managed with the help of Data Management Office.
  • Provide oversight over critical EUCs in the Risk domain and deliver assurance over EUC controls in line with Bank's policy.
  • Maintain and further develop internal model application hub (Firenze) and Risk Domain Share Point.
  • Support wider Risk domain with building and maintaining Power BI risk reports.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within MBE.
  • Support the Head of ERM in the wider ERM agenda.
Requirements:
  • Academic (Master) degree in a quantitative field, or other relevant field of study.
  • Previous work experience in similar function required, with a strong background in risk management in a regulated entity.
  • Project Management experience, practical experience with Agile / Scrum.
  • Experience in preparing strategic documents, IT business requirements documents, and presentations to senior management and regulators.
  • Experience of working across departments and functional fields.
  • Working knowledge of Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Django, Numpy) and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI.
