Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Specialist to join our Accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations. You will be responsible for performing daily accounting tasks, managing accounts payable and receivable administration, contributing to monthly and yearly closing processes, and assisting in preparing financial reports and analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming invoices, payments, and expense claims on a daily basis
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable administration to ensure timely payment and collection of funds
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and yearly closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses to support business decisions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with legal and internal financial guidelines and policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a financial role within a company based in the Netherlands
  • Good knowledge of (Dutch) accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
  • Experience with implementing financial software tools and automation of financial processes
  • Advanced Excel skills

About the Role

This is a full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week, with some office days required. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting and work closely with the rest of the team to achieve our financial goals.
