About the Role

Swift is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Leader to spearhead our Agile Strategy and Skills initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in building a world-class Agile Coaching function, driving business growth through strategic learning and development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain skill development objectives, and training/development plans for Agile Coaches.
  • Understand and work with available resources to help fill skills development needs.
  • Coach & mentor chapter members to identify & share agile best practices and agile engineering practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of agile values, practices and principles; stay up-to-date on trends through ongoing self-development & education.
  • Lead Problem Solving Sessions to help chapter members solve common challenges.
  • Promote Frameworks: Ensure chapter members understand and adhere to Swift's agile frameworks, common practices and governance.
  • Orchestrate the feedback collection from Tribe Coaches, Squad Members, Product Owners, Peer Agile Coaches, and stakeholders to assess development needs and agree on skills development goals.
  • In collaboration with tribe coaches, set objectives, conduct mid-year review and year-end performance appraisal of chapter members.
  • Work with tribe coaches and agile CoE on coach resource management, e.g. coach to squad assignments and coach recruitment needs.
  • In collaboration with tribe coaches and agile CoE, recruit, select and on-board new agile coaches with relevant skills and experience to meet the needs of Tribes and Squads.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of professional experience – at least 5 years in Agile Coaching / Scrum Master / Product Owner position.
  • Leadership experience is a plus (management or team leadership).
  • You are an ambassador of the agile culture.
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training in coaching and facilitations techniques and methodologies.
  • Understanding of the Agile frameworks: Proficiency in Scrum, Kanban and DevOps practices.
  • Certifications (Scrum and Kanban, SAFe, ICAgile) is ideal.
  • Background in engineering, IT development, testing is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to assess skills gaps and translate them into strategic L&D initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and applying innovative approaches to drive development.
  • Change Management: Experience with change management principles to support agile transitions and continuous improvement.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Capacity to develop innovative learning solutions and creative approaches to skill development.
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships with external training providers or vendors.
  • Experience in workforce planning and resource management, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) with the ability to align talent capabilities with strategic priorities and deliver implementation and tracking.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset, with the drive to make a tangible impact on the business through effective learning and development strategies.
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
