We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager Trade Inland Waterways to join our team in Rotterdam. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Support the trade sales process to ensure accurate commercial handling of customer requests
- Identify and approach new customers, prepare quotes, and maintain long-term relationships
- Convince customers and help them achieve their goals through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Work within sales authorization and pricing guidelines to ensure accurate cost price calculations and invoicing
- Ensure all relevant information is up-to-date, correct, and complete in our systems
- Strong customer orientation and commercial mindset
- Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
- Experience in a similar role or with inland shipping (1-2 years)
- Secondary vocational graduate
