Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our Software Engineering and Technology cluster for a two-year project on the application of generative AI in software development at ASML. The position will focus on the application of generative AI techniques in the domain of software engineering, particularly in the context of technical debt reduction.
The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with researchers in the Data and AI cluster and will have opportunities to collaborate with other researchers within the cluster. The researcher will also work with use case owners from the IT department at ASML.
Requirements
- A PhD degree in software engineering or a related field with application of AI.
- Excellent track record demonstrated by high-quality scientific papers.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and programming skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creativity, independence, and dedication to advancing science.
- Ability and will to collaborate and work in teams and to coordinate/manage research.
- Ability to (co-)supervise MSc thesis students and interns involved in the project.
Conditions of Employment
- Full-time employment for 2 years, with an intermediate evaluation (go/no-go) after three months.
- Salary and benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities.
- A year-end bonus of 8.3% and annual vacation pay of 8%.
