We are looking for a Wetenschappelijk softwareconsultant to join our team at Amsterdam UMC.

As a Wetenschappelijk softwareconsultant, you will be part of our Research Data Management (RDM) team, which works on developing and implementing solutions for managing research data and software.

One of the key responsibilities of this role will be to develop and maintain software tools and pipelines for data analysis and processing. You will work closely with researchers and clinicians to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain software tools and pipelines for data analysis and processing.
  2. Work closely with researchers and clinicians to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of new research projects and initiatives.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in research software engineering and data science.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  2. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  3. Experience with software development methodologies and tools such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
  4. Knowledge of data formats and standards such as JSON, XML, or RDF.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
