Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Development Executive to join our Benelux team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across our NIQ & GfK portfolio in the Benelux region. Your primary objective will be to achieve quarterly sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that add incremental revenue to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our retailer's industry, business, markets, and clusters to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Penetrate the NIQ/GFK solution portfolio with a focus on Business Intelligence solutions, such as category management, pricing, and supply chain.
  • Drive client growth by expanding our client base among the Retail Industry and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategically develop business opportunities in the long tail of retailers operating in the Netherlands and Belgium, leveraging the entire NIQ & GfK portfolio to grow revenue and services across our solutions and brands.
  • Identify new key stakeholders across the buying centers of existing Retail Partners and Key Prospects, and introduce our services and benefits using winning strategic selling techniques.
  • Manage RFPs from need assessment to pitch presentations, negotiation, and closing larger deals in close collaboration with Key Account Managers, ADs, and our brands and solutions.
  • Proactively win Retailers currently not benefiting from our strong assets and WIN key Retailers to our Retail Partner Program.
  • Build a network of effective and meaningful relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, to maximize business opportunities.
  • Implement Global and Regional strategy and organization, drive change, and represent NIQ/GfK at Retail industry & networking events.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing revenue targets, with a strong desire to consistently overachieve against both personal targets and objectives.
  • SaaS solutions sales experience with a proven track record of delivering strong results against revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English.
