Smit Mobile Equipment B.V. is seeking a skilled Carrosseriebouwer to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical units and fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products
  • Using various hand and power tools and operating equipment such as jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses
  • Fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements
  • Monitoring quality of products and raw materials
  • Performing simple routine maintenance and cleaning
  • Determining and correcting minor machine malfunctions

Typically, this role requires 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision. If you have a strong background in mechanical assembly and are looking for a challenging role, we encourage you to apply.
