CTO Senior Finance Business Partner

As a key member of the Central Technology team at Booking.com, you will play a vital role in driving financial planning and control cycles. Your expertise will be instrumental in advising the CTO and senior leadership team on financial matters, ensuring that business strategies are aligned with solid financial plans.

With a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, you will lead the financial planning and control cycle activities for Central Tech. Your ability to bridge innovative business strategies into actionable financial plans will be essential in driving the company's technological plans and infrastructure forward.

You will work closely with the FP&A team to develop and implement financial models and forecasts, ensuring that the company's annual and 3-year plans are accurately reflected. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities will be crucial in driving projects to completion.

As a Business Finance Partner, you will be responsible for managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost optimization projects. Your experience in business partnering at CTO and CIO levels will be invaluable in advising stakeholders on financial matters and driving business growth.

With a strong focus on data governance and integrity, you will ensure that key metrics are accurate and reliable. Your ability to challenge the status quo and strive for excellence in all internal processes will be essential in driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning and control cycle activities for Central Tech
  • Advise CTO and senior leadership team on financial matters
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting
  • Drive cost optimization projects
  • Ensure data governance and integrity
  • Champion excellence in all internal processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Additional professional certification (CPA/RC/CIMA/CMA) or studying
  • Experience managing budgets in Technology department/function
  • Experience business partnering at CTO, CIO level
  • 10+ years of experience in business control
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required, Google Sheets a plus
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to listen, work with, and proactively advise business partners
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
