Sales Manager for Buying Groups

Position Summary

As Senior Account Manager for Buying Groups, you will be responsible for delivering a well-managed and growing business for the Dutch market. You will drive yearly targets and long-term revenue through all market segments for Buying Groups. Your role is to maximize regional sales within the Home Appliances department, according to Buying Group Key Accounts, company guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with Buying Groups, ensuring high-level satisfaction through strategic business planning.
  • You will focus on business opportunities arising from new product introductions, end-of-life products, new retail openings, and marketing propositions.
  • You will work with active Accounts within Buying Groups, negotiating deals, and taking product availability into account.
  • You will make agreements and deals in consultation with the Field Sales Manager.
  • You will create clear sales reports, providing insights into sales processes, status, and forecasts.
  • You will suggest sales actions and exceptional discounts within marketing department guidelines.
  • You will work with the sales and marketing team, as well as other departments, including credit and collection, order processing, logistics, legal, extended sales force, service, finance, and retail marketing.
  • You will ensure that additional budget is spent on focused and agreed items, according to company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in account management and business development, preferably within the consumer electronics or technology industry.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
  • Good social and communication skills.
  • Time management.
  • Networking skills and customer-oriented thinking.
  • Sales-driven and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of products and services.
  • Analytic and administration skills.
  • Empathy and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree.
  • Familiarity with Buying Groups, industry trends, and competitive landscape is preferred.
  • Proactive and ability to prioritize.
  • Innovative and collaborative.
