At Teledyne Geospatial, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our continued growth in the CARIS Hydrographic Software Solutions segment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional to make a significant impact and drive business success.
About the Role:
- Achieve or exceed direct and channel sales targets for the Europe region.
- Work closely with the CARIS sales team and European customers to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Maintain and present an accurate forecast and pipeline by region on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Implement a direct and indirect channel program and structure, ensuring standardization and alignment with regional goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to develop campaigns and programs that maximize pipeline creation and drive deal conversions.
- Identify and improve processes to enhance efficiency and productivity within the global go-to-market team.
- Work with customer success leadership to provide proper support for customers and regional partners throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure partner contracts align with Teledyne's business objectives while driving successful outcomes for partners.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including product management, finance, and marketing, to drive commercial efforts on strategic business initiatives.
- Promote CARIS solutions through regular visits to end-users, demos, presentations, and attendance at tradeshows, seminars, and webinars.
- Travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time) to visit customers, partners, and attend events.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical sales experience with a proven track record in selling Hydrographic or GIS software into the Hydrographic market.
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Cartography, or Marine Science.
- Experience with operations of sonar systems, including CARIS Software suite, is a plus.
- Familiarity with International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) standards is a plus.
- Ability to effectively manage pipelines and forecasts within a CRM.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple organizations and functions.
- Excellent knowledge of sonar data processing and nautical charting.
- Talented writer and presenter, able to demonstrate company products and services.
- Team player attitude with strong work ethics.
- Internationally minded and ready to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
